Students are required to do a synthesis study in sub-urban at Taman Tun Dr Ismail of Kuala Lumpur. Discuss among yourself, identify the task, the scope of works of each member in a team to carry out site analysis virtually on the context of space located among the urban fabric, building typology, and also the robustness of different purposes offered their users in conjunction with the variety of human activities.
REQUIREMENTS
Prepared Digital Site Model, video and A1 drawing presentation board in PDF (computer) for site analysis consist of:
• Site location (key plan, location plan, site plan, outward and inward view)
• History
• Climate
• Circulation (Traffic, Public Transportation and Pedestrian)
• Landmark
• Vegetation (soft scape and hard scape)
• Views
• Buildings’ function in different colour code
• Interview e.g. passer-by, public figures, opinion leaders...etc.
• SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunity, treat)
Include with local authorities’ guidelines (DBKL), UBBL and Bomba requirements.
