For Project 2B, students will go in depth and critically on the site analysis studies of the Project 2 site in Tanjung Bungah, Pulau Pinang. Students will be divided into groups and each group to prepare a specific study for the proposed site.
Virtual site visit. The chosen site is an empty lot in a residential neighbourhood along Jalan Tingkat Laut in Tanjung Bungah. It is located near to a few famous landmarks around the area such as Pantai Tanjung Bungah, Copthorne Orchid Hotel, Dalat International School and others.

The site analysis will be divided to 11 sub categories:

History and Background of Tanjung Bungah, Pulau Pinang and the site. (historical and current)
2.
Authority Requirements and UBBL
3.
Site plan, Site Section, Site Topography, Setbacks and Zoning
4.
Site photograph, Images, Inventory of Adjacent Buildings and Landmarks
5.
Utilities (Water supply, electricity, sewerage etc)
6.
Vehicular and Pedestrian Traffic Flow Analysis (Accessibility)
7.
Natural Elements, Climatic and Environmental Contexts (flooding, tides etc.)
8.
Socio Cultural Conditions (Background and current)
9.
Sensory (Richness) + SWOT Analysis
10.
Digital Site Model + Video of Site Model
11.
Housing Studies
